-3- Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., cont., outlay are capable of dealing with only about half the above figure. Mr. Bartlett suggests that if and when you are ready to go further into the matter, you should send a Representative to Luton to whom we should be pleased to show the plant in operation, and your Representative could then get a fairly accurate idea of the cost of the plant which you would need for your requirements. With regard to your query concerning the cost of a manufacturing licence, I am afraid that I can give you no indication under this heading at the present moment until I hear from the other side, but I think you can assume that such cost would not be prohibitive, and in fact the royalty would presumably be calculated on the same reasonable basis as the other royalties which have been agreed between your good selves and the Corporation. Once again, will you please accept my apologies for the delay in this matter and rest assured that we shall do everything possible to give you full information in the shortest possible time. Yours faithfully, W. W. Constantine. K.{Mr Kilner} W. W. CONSTANTINE. WWC/KG. 299. | ||
