| To RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}: D 240 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.22/JH.30.10.36. Matrix for Bentley Bump Radiator. We wish to modify our instructions as mentioned in Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.11/JH.22.10.36. We wish to bump a Mark VI 52 m.m. matrix of lightened construction (we have handed this matrix to the shop). We also wish to examine the matrix which has run 15,000 mileson 6-B-IV. Will you therefore carry out the following. (1) Remove 52 m.m. Mark VI matrix unit (comprises matrix and top and bottom tanks) from 6-B-IV. radiator (this is at present on bench in shop) and replace it by the standard unit which we will hand to you. (2) Remove the top and bottom tanks from this 52 m.m. Mark VI matrix off 6-B-IV, and hand the matrix to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. for inspection. (3) Fit the top and bottom tanks off 6-B-IV's matrix to the new lightened 52 m.m. matrix and fit the unit so formed to the bump chassis radiator. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. | ||
