-5- Contd. which to learn something, and necessarily we have to produce something more like what we think the final motor is going to be. This memo contains our proposition to that end. The query arises as to whether in the utilisation of the tapered armature, it is your intention that the slots shall be milled with a parallel cutter so as to be of unequal depth at the two ends, or whether the cutter shall descend in accord- ance with the taper so that the slot remains of uniform depth. Presumably this latter is the intention and will give a much better electrical job providing it is a good enough manufacturing proposition. EFC. | ||
