We have produced the above scheme in order that a Renold Duplex chain driven camshaft may be fitted to this engine.

It was necessary to utilize an existing camshaft designed for single way thrust washer and spring plunger control.

With the above scheme a single way thrust washer is used but the spring plunger control is replaced by a thrust plunger giving .004 end float by selective assembly.
