8155 EP. {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} From Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Lid. {A. J. Lidsey} Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Lid. {A. J. Lidsey} 2/MA.14. 4. 32. Re. 20/25 HP. FRONT WINGS. With reference to EP {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} /Tnn. 2/H.13.4.32., and the attached note from J.L.E., we have no comments to add further than those given in Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /GWH. {George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} 6/MA.5.4.32. The suggestion of an additional stay is something that has never been tried and therefore cannot be put forward as a remedy. The suggestion was to use one more wing stay than usual and alter the positions so that they are equally spaced. At the moment therefore we have no scheme for overcoming the trouble.
