Nightingale Road, Derby. Dear Sir, Your Ref. BY7/H. Referring to your esteemed favour of the 17th inst. and to the interview our representative had with you, we regret very much indeed that you have had any reason to be dissatisfied with our instruments, and we thought it advisable to have a Directors' Meeting and go into the whole matter very thoroughly. The result of such meeting was that we are prepared and are actually operating suggestions made by yourselves as well as suggestions and help given us by Technical Outside Advisers, and we can assure you that we will immediately do our very utmost to give you that satisfaction which is required. We are taking each point of our instrument thoroughly in hand and doing our level best to improve and alter it as far as it can be dealt with. The frame will be altered at the earliest moment, and the Fibre made to mesh at right angles to worm. The Cyclometer and each point of the instrument are being seriously dealt with to entirely eradicate any complaints, and we hope within a few weeks that such improvement will be embodied that will get over all troubles. Please understand, we realise the importance of making our instrument perfect, and areworking to that end, irrespective of expense, time or trouble. We are, dear Sirs, Yours faithfully, FOR A.T.
