CUSTOMERS' COMPLAINTS.

25/30 H.P.

In analysing the Customers' complaints during the last four months, the following have been the most prominent.

1) Ignition plug trouble due to Ethel petrol depositing lead on the mica plugs, causing preignition at medium speeds.
27 cases. Average mileage.... 2.600

2) Faults in Brakes, comprising:-
Brake & Servo squeaking, sticking of actuating shafts, uneven braking, shuddering and sticking of Servo.
16 cases. Average mileage.... 4.090.

3) Clutch jaggers.
15 cases Average mileage.... 3.263

4) Electrical troubles, comprising:-
Dynamo drive rattles, failure of Headlamp, Dippers, Horns, Coils, High Tension Wire, Ammeter sticking, Dynamo charge.
13 cases. Average mileage.... 2.472.

5) Oiling of plugs.
12 cases. Average mileage.... 2.500.

6) Faulty starting from cold.
12 cases. Average mileage.... 1.625

7) Steering, comprising:-
Knocks, wandering, slack, click on full lock, side steering tube fouling anchorage.
7 cases. Average mileage.... 2.394.

8) Carburetters, comprising:-
Flooding, and stiffness of filter cap.
7 Cases. Average mileage.... 3.590

9) Instruments, comprising:-
Sticking and incorrect reading of petrol gauges, Speedometer drives noisy.
7 Cases. Average mileage.... 2.717

10) Exhaust system. Chiefly rear anchorage rattles.
