To E/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} 346 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}14/JH.1.7.37. re Phantom III Rear Body Bracket. We have never experienced any trouble with these brackets on our Exptl. cars at Derby, but on 34-EX both bolts were broken during the trip to Nairobi. This may have been due to the heavy strain on the luggage lid{A. J. Lidsey} which carried rope ladders and planks. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/F.Dodd. | ||
