To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} x340 HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.29/JH. 22.6.36.

As a result of information gained with our tests on the Cadillac car's cooling system at Brooklands, we propose to take a Ph.III car there shortly to endeavour to determine how much we can improve its cooling with
(a) Cadillac fan fitted as specified in our memo. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.12/KW.22.6.36.
(b) Some form of cowling in front of the radiator.

Will you therefore please have made the cowlings shown on attached sketch and arrange that these are detachable and can be fitted to 33-EX car when we are ready for these tests. The first is a cowling in front of the radiator the second a cowling around the fan.
