Messrs Rolls Royce FB/EHF. 18th November, 1938. Messrs. FIAT MOTORS (England) Ltd., Water Road, Wembley, Middlesex. Dear Sirs, Attention of Mr. Ife. It has occurred to us that one paragraph of our letter to you of the 14th inst., regarding the results obtained on AC.9 bearings in racing in South Africa, might convey the impression that we are not very much concerned with filtration of oil. Actually we do insist that very efficient filters are necessary and it was merely a question of pointing out in our letter the very severe conditions under which AC.9 bearings have performed satisfactorily. To get the best out of AC.9 bearings, it is very necessary to filter the oil efficiently and no doubt you already provide very efficient filters in the oil system as applied to your cars. Yours faithfully, For WELLWORTHY PISTON RINGS LTD., Technical Manager. | ||
