Material release schedule and outstanding items for the Wraith 'C' Series production.

| 600 To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} WRAITH 'C' SERIES. In accordance with the completed Material Release Schedule, all D.O. instructions for the above Series should have been completed by November 19th. This matter was raised in memo' RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}1/MD.14.11.38. and an assurance given in BY.28/N.17.11.38. that all details excepting the Propeller Shaft section would be released by Monday November, 21st. However, there are still 69 items outstanding apart from the complete Propeller Shaft section, whilst on certain sections 100 sets of material only have been released. It was agreed that the first 100 sets only of Exhaust Fittings and Petrol Pump section should be released, but this has now been applied to certain Electrical sections, which presumably means that we may anticipate alteration to design half-way through the Series. If changes of this nature are introduced, Production will be dislocated, apart from the increased cost of Labour and Material due to the smaller quantities handled.
