RE: MATERIAL FOR 'C' SERIES.

Referring to RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/GL.{G. Linnett}1/FH.24.11.38. I have gone into the position raised in the memo in question, and the position is as follows :-

(1). E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Department.

I find that certain modifications are necessary to the details in this department, in order to fit a hydraulic damper to the front brakes to prevent thumps. These parts will all be released by the weekend, the parts in question are :-

Section 5000.
EW.1872 Crankcase (Bottom Half).
GB.3181 Spindle.

Section 5190.
EW.1633 Connection.
EW.1640 Bottom Water Pipe.
EW.1721 Bottom Water Pipe.
EW.1723 Bracket.

Section 5200.
EW.1766 Oil Pipe.

Section 5201.
EW.1697 Breather Pipe.

All of the above parts are necessary to the scheme. The slight delay complained of has been unavoidable.

(2). G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Department.

The trouble with the broken 1st. Motion Shaft was not known of at the time my memo BY.28/N.17.11.38. was written. The following parts are affected, and complete details will be issued by Wednesday of next week :-
