X.3159 X.4114 X.4116 X.3838 The following is a comparative test we wish you to make to determine the relative load capacities with r.p.m. of a New Departure double row ball bearing, with a plain ordinary type thrust race, as used say in direct drive Condor. This experiment which is extremely urgent in view of the position of E.16., should we consider be made with a No. 215.ND. double row bearing, having - A bore ............ 75 mm. Outside dia. ...... 130 mm. Width ............ 1.437"mm. and contains 17 balls, and should be run at revs. of say 1,800., and carry an end load of say 3,500 lbs., and compared with an ordinary type thrust washer bearing as used on Condor direct drive.
