Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} 200b. 1328. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.2/AP.10.3.38 B.III. THERMOSTAT & WATER PUMP. B.III. No.1. UNIT. The first B.III. engine unit built had no thermostat or housing fitted to same - we wish to obtain the maximum possible amount of running experience on these thermostats. Will you therefore obtain a complete B.III. thermostat (unit casing etc.) and fit same to the B.III. Unit No.1, at present on test bed when this can conveniently be done without interrupting running. Will you at the same time please fit a stainless steel thrust plug to ExS.570 to the water pump of the above unit. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. | ||
