CONTROLLABLE DAMPERS. ------------------------- The following modifications are required to be made to the 40/50 damper system so that it will be suitable for 25 HP. cars. Suspension Brackets for front and rear Dampers as instructed in Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.9/KW.23.3.34. Front Dampers - Bellows F.85875, size No. 4. Rear Dampers - Bellows F.85395, size No. 8. Governor Unit. Diam. of Pump - .6562". Larger valves to N.Sch.3969. Spring to N.Sch.4019 Load set to operate at 30/sq.in. pressure (F.60295). Over-riding control spring 20/sq.in. pressure (F.60220). Details of the damper loads and the diameter of governor release valve orifice in F.84956 will follow later.
