Commencing with E2 series you are providing the R-R method of hydraulic damper control as at present standard on the 40/50 h.p. chassis. I anticipate we shall have many enquiries for this from customers who have taken delivery of "D" and earlier series. Will you therefore please let me know whether it will be possible to fit this system retrospectively to earlier chassis, and if so how far back one can go ?. We have as you know fitted a few sets of these controls retrospectively on the 40/50 to some of the chassis in PY series, and we may therefore feel justified in doing likewise with the 20/25 h.p. if it is possible.
