Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} YS430 DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/M24.8.28. 12g-4 STEERING. X.5430 X.5810 X.5420 With reference to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn{Mr Robinson}2/LG21.8.28., we thought that the 'shiver' which we remarked upon occurred at speeds much lower than 56 m.p.h., though we did notice that when we touched 55 m.p.h. the striking of road irregularities appeared to give rather a prolonged 'shiver'. No doubt you will verify your theory as to the smaller wheels by trying a set of standards. As you are aware we have not done on this front axle all the things that we have done on the Phantom, and for the complete India 3, we have to instruct a new axle with an increased drop in the centre, when we shall take the approx opportunity of giving you considerable out-of-centre-point, as well as the other improvements.
