-2- (4) ACCESSIBILITY & COST OF SERVICE. Constructive criticism is always welcome with regard to the accessibility of parts which require servicing. We have not had sufficient information from Depots on this subject in the past. (5) CONTACT WITH THE WORKS. It is proposed to discuss whether the existing arrangements for contact with the Works are adequate. (6) RECURRENT COMPLAINTS ON MODELS WHICH HAVE GONE OUT OF PRODUCTION. There are often recurrent complaints, e.g., noisy valves on P.II, which are costing the Company a great deal of money. Nothing is being done by Design or Experimental Dept. on these obsolete cars. It is proposed to discuss whether the Depots, in conjunction with GWR, cannot make modifications to these cars which might be expected to satisfy customers independent of the Works. (7) STOCK AND ORDERING MATERIAL. Herewith a draft memo of Ed{J. L. Edwards}'s, which outlines present procedure regarding this matter. (8) QUARTERLY COMPLAINTS. Any suggestions as to how the form in which these are tabulated, or the information contained therein, can be improved. A tentative form suggested for tabulating complaint data is attached.
