Conclusions arrived at in these notes.

1st test every car on completion for parallelism of crank "gear box shafts thus :-

1. Bad.
not parallel but concentric
x position of pins in coupling.

2. Gear box shaft very bad.
Engine shaft neither parallel nor concentric.

3. Good.
parallel but not concentric.

4. Excellent.
parallel and concentric.

1 & 2. wear and rattle badly.
3. wears badly, but should not rattle.
4. wear well and should not rattle
