-3- B.60 NO.1 UNIT - Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} Whilst the cylinder heads are being changed the Studebaker damper should be removed for fitting to B.80 No.3 unit. A B.60 type of harmonic damper to be fitted to B.60 No.1 unit. B.80 NO.2 UNIT. Whilst waiting for the induction system, carry out unit deflection tests for Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} When running, carry out investigation of crank and cam oscillations as per previous programme. This should also include the Buick damper SCD.1275. No. 2 TEST HOUSE. Unit being assembled for comparison of Hepworth & Grandage "high point pressure" rings with standard. Sequence should be as follows with each type:- Immediately after running in carry out power curve and record the "Blow-By" at each speed. Run 2 hr. oil consumption runs at 4000 R.P.M., until a constant figure is reached after which repeat "blow-by" figures at each power curve speed. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H.
