ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. INSTRUCTIONS. To: C.J.B. Order No.: Re: J.B.64. Customer's No.: X 3035 Date: 15-9-1924 Re Chloride Battery Thermometer. This thermometer is much more convenient than the ones which were obtained from Messrs Peto & Radford for the following reasons. 1 It is small & of much thicker glass & therefore is not so liable to get knocked & broken when in the cell. 2 The graduations are marked on the glass & are easily discernible, & not on paper slipped inside, which is liable to move & give a false reading as in the case of the P&R.{Sir Henry Royce} 3 A small round bulb is used which the acid completely covers when in the cell & on the P&R an elongated bulb is used & the acid only covered a portion of it. (cont'd) Signed This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. Top Left Corner: RR 300 (20 Bks.) (SK 354 5-12-22 MP 264049) Top Right Corner: 108615 | ||
