Dampers.

Herewith is a print of N. Sch.4034 which shows the stops on the bellows.

My impression is that fig.1 will be satisfactory and that variation of bellows length up to .050 may not make a noticeable difference to the action of the control.

You will see that I have increased the length of the damper by .150 but that the casings for the front dampers having only small diameter bellows can have the nuts recessed. Is there an intermediate size of bellows for the 20/25 or Bentley? If there is, this idea may not be useful.

The above increase of .150 is required to provide for the .100 clearance between the stop plate and the valve and an extra .050 length of bellows, in the case of the large bellows, so that we can get the same travel as now with no fear of the bellows becoming choc-a-bloc.

The modifications to the bellows casings are not of importance, I imagine, as they are having to alter them for the elimination of the elbows.
