RE 40/50 CHASSIS - THERMOSTAT. WIRE FITTINGS.

With reference to the arrangement of Wire Fittings on engines fitted with Thermostat, we find on looking through the Experimental Dept. file that according to Mr Royce's instructions the special Ignition Tube Bracket N.3794 was instructed under memo Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Stt9/EF18.3.20. for your approval and fitted on 49.GB and 1.EX.

Will you please let us know if it is intended to standardise this part, as owing to us being unaware of the existence of this Bracket, Mr Bailey has been compelled to shorten the existing Ignition Tube on the "O" Series chassis, all the standard parts having been instructed the same as for "N" Series.

If you recommend the adoption of this Bracket N.3794 as standard it could be considered for use on the Series "P" and future chassis.
