To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} X206 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}7/KW.7.4.36. Water Excluders - Bentley. With the increasing use of hydraulic lifts and very high pressure hoses for washing cars, some improvement will be necessary in the above if we are not once again going to get customers' complaints. The attached drawing, Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}107, shows an improved yet simplified version of our present excluder, which can easily be fitted to the front axle at present on 5-B-IV - the outer screen distance pieces only are new parts. The section of the outer screen is the same all round, except where it has to be bent to clear cross steering lever and brake actuation. Will you please have this fitted up so that we may test it.
