RE. CHASSIS 32-OR HEATH FOR CROSBIE & DUNN
S. COXHILL ESQ.

With reference to the attached correspondence Messrs. Crosbie & Dunn have no idea what our latest scheme of semi isolation is. They are apparently under the impression that the fully isolated scheme which we have condemned is the one we recommend.

They remark that the old method of fitting rubber insertion between the body and the chassis was fine. The present scheme of semi isolation is precisely the same.

With regard to a draft between the scuttle and the body. This is quite unnecessary as one variety of the present scheme is to have a piece of sheet sorbo sponge rubber all the way round between the body and the dash to fill up the gap; this is the recommended scheme.

Therefore as far as we can see the whole of this trouble appears to have arisen owing to the coach-builder not knowing what the semi isolation scheme is.
