For the attention of Mr. Ratcliffe

Dear Sirs,

PHANTOM III EEC-42 CARBURETTERS

We beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 7th inst., and note your remarks regarding the adoption of a high pressure pump and your requirements in respect to seatings to be fitted to the carburetters to meet higher pressure from the pump.

We are preparing the Drawings for the new seating and we shall communicate with you again on this matter.

In the meantime, we would like to point out to you that we have now in stock 21 carburetters with the present .180 seating fitted. In addition we have 89 assemblies of needles and seatings finished, ready for use on carburetters; and, furthermore, there are in stock 51 needles Part No.L.1175 and 179 seatings Part NO.L.1174, and .180" in diameter.

If you definitely decide to adopt the high pressure pump, these stocks (or a proportion of them) will be rendered Obsolete and we shall be glad to have your agreement to meet the expense in connection with this cancellation of finished parts.

Yours faithfully,
THE ZENITH CARBURETTER CO. LTD.
