Dear Sirs,

Re: Speedometers for Rolls-Royce
and Bentley Chassis with larger
trip figures

Thank you for your letter of the 5th instant. We are sorry you are experiencing difficulty in obtaining supplies of the new improved magnet steel.

Here, at Derby, we are not using such Steel, but if you would communicate with Dr. Watson, of Messrs. Joseph Lucas Ltd, Birmingham, or Mr. Allen, of Messrs. Rotax Limited, Willesden, they might be able to help you if in the meantime you have not found a satisfactory source of supply.
