BENTLEY II LE MANS CYLINDER HEAD.

We are sending in the above cylinder for inspection and overhaul as it is likely that it will be required in connection with the 24-hour run in the Paulin Streamlined Bentley.

The following should be carried out.

(1) Crack test inlet and exhaust valves.
(2) Check the valve springs for poundage and whether any surface defects or cracks.
(3) Examine seats for cracks.
(4) Lap in valves and assemble with new bottom grummets.
(5) Crack test top and bottom valve spring washers.
