x794/ To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} From G.W.H. hotel de france, Chateauroux. Indre. France. 13th September 1934. 28 - EX. Further tests with the front engine mounting. Conditions. Front anchorage replaced and torque reaction dampers fitted, set with a friction load of 35 lbs. 1. The steering has been brought back to its original state; stability and small amount of joggles. It is as good as when the car was here previously. 2. Clutch. Perfectly good standard engagement; no sign of grab or jagger under any condition. We are now busy changing the engine feet.
