Dear Sirs,
For the attention of Col.Matthew.

We tender to you our most cordial thanks for the
invitation you have extended to members of our staff to visit
your Works to witness the manufacture of Balloon Cord Tyres and
to be present at practical tests of the behaviour of such tyres
in service.

We propose to take advantage of this invitation on
Wednesday next, 15th inst. The party will consist of:-

Mr.Wormald........ Works Manager
Mr.Hives......... Experimental Dept.
Mr.Clough........ Asst.Technical Production Engineer
Mr.Platford...... Test Dept.
Mr.Chandler...... Repair Dept.
Mr.Mills......... Supply Dept.

They will leave here about 10 a.m. by road to your Works.
We must also thank you for your very kind invitation to these
gentlemen to take lunch at your Works. We are sure the visit
will be of deep interest to all concerned.
