B.60 No.1 Unit.

This engine is at present stripped in No.30 Test House for weight analysis.

We wish to send the parts into the shop for inspection, as certain parts are damaged as a result of a valve failure during endurance.

The following parts need attention.

(1) One new cylinder head EXS.1383 required.
(2) One new short insert to be fitted in the cylinder block, which should be inspected for further damage.
(3) New crankshaft 2.75 journals.
(4) Vandervell bearings to be fitted (big ends and main).
(5) Geardrive parts for the camshaft from B.60 No.3 unit.
(6) Camshaft lubrication by crankcase drilling scheme.
(7) One new set of Aerolite pistons EB.3916.
