To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Car Position. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}6/E22.1.36 Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}E.BY.Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} Thanks for Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/KW.21.1.36. I am very glad indeed to see this report because I was complaining only yesterday about the absence of information which makes it very difficult for me when having to deal with certain important matters in connection with the Company's business. Referring to the 20/25, would you please let me know whether there is any difference in the compression ratio between the temporary mock-up head which Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} and I have got and the unit with the turbulent head. If so, what difference? I note that the new chassis 22-G-IV is now ready for despatch to the coachbuilders. I understand from Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} that the coachbuilders expect to turn out the complete car in about two weeks. In view of the urgency of this matter, I hope that you will stress the importance of it with the coachbuilders. I am very anxious, as you know, to try it in comparison with mine and I am wondering whether I can arrange to do this with you before the car goes back to Derby from the coachbuilders. Sg.{Arthur F.
