Mr. Lidsey from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}

We have wired you today as follows :-

" NINETY EIGHT NK. WITH MEN SHOULD RETURN SOON AS TEN THOUSAND MILES COMPLETED WIRE WHEN YOU EXPECT TO ARRIVE DERBY" HIVES.

We have decided that as 98-NK car is the first EAC. car to complete 10,000 miles, we should have it at the Works as soon as possible to see what state the parts are in.

We take it that you will see that the papers are all in order before the car leaves France.

We have already written to Paris as regards the registration for the second car. We are suggesting that Croyden meets this car in the same manner as he did 98-NK.

We have decided to have the men back because we assume most of them can ride on the car and we never know we may have trouble with the second car, but we are hoping that it will be ready to start off as soon as they return.
