X8940 X8770 We are afraid it will not be possible to have 93-NK car completed with all the parts agreed to in CJl/M13.3.25. until the end of this week. We therefore propose that we shall bring this car to London on Tuesday the 31st. March. The car will be complete except for one item, this being the controls on the instrument board for radiator shutters and starter carburetter. These have been modified again at the last minute. We do not think it is worth while waiting for the latest controls because they will not affect the 10,000 miles test. The parts affected are only those that are fitted on the car at the Coachbuilders. The car will have the latest instructed pistons. At the same time we bring 93-NK car we will also bring 98-NK car which will by then have returned from France having completed 10,000 miles. We will also bring 46-PK. This is another car which has not yet been tried by Sales and which will help us to arrive at an average standard for EAC. 'V' series chassis. Will you please let us know where we can meet on Tuesday. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} will bring the cars from Derby. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
