1345 Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}6/MH.{M. Huckerby} 8th. February, 1940. H.Sammons, Esq., Messrs. Armstrong Securities Co. Ltd., Kadenacy Dept., Buckingham Avenue, Trading Estate, Slough, BUCKS. Dear Mr. Sammons, Many thanks for your letter of February 6th. We are busy deciding on the exact power out-put which we require from the new unit, and will communicate with you in the immediate future. I agree with you that it would be nice if we could get the commercial aspect lined up, but I am perfectly certain that Mr. Hives would be much more favourably inclined towards your royalty suggestion if we had evidence ourselves that we were getting a good deal out of the Kadenacy patents than under the present conditions where the advantages which we are arguing round are somewhat "in the air". I think you are probably a better salesman than I am and you will have to come up and see Hives again when we know a little better what we are after. Yours sincerely, | ||
