Dear Sirs,

We confirm the visit of your representative Mr.Arrowsmith to our Works this afternoon. He personally inspected our testing arrangements and satisfied himself that the same were correct.

Upon inspecting the two instruments No.G.381 and G.382 which he brought back with him, we find that on the speedometer the glass if quite loose, and an inspection of the instrument shows that there is a possibility of the screw being tight judging by the vice marks on the instrument itself, where the same has been clamped in the vice for the purposes of tightening up the securing flange.

We are also returning the rev counter to you again as Mr.Arrowsmith will confirm that the instrument at the 26°C. temperature we tested it was reading 4% slow at 4500 R.P.M. We also noticed that the needle on the rev counter fouls the minute hand of the clock when in the zero position which of course is serious.
