Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/MJ.14.12.29. X7410 Phantom ll Springing. We tnink it is a waste of time and money to change springs on Phantom ll when it is found that the buffer clearance on a car with a specified load comes within our limits. We have in mind a case where a Phantom ll car had the springs changed for others one hundred pounds ligater. We have done sufficient work on springing at Derby to know that this change in itself could never be appreciated. In cases of complaints of Phantom ll springing we recommend the car is put up to Derby for investigation. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}. | ||
