Mr DeLooze for Mr Northey X.89 Re Shock Absorbers - Mr Chas. Braun. 28-11-12 TBB10/L.221112 With reference to the attached note from Mr Northey PNZ/AN/211112 concerning shock absorbers. The following points may interest Mr Northey. When the spring leaves are well lubricated we find that our standard shock absorbers (set in the manner we recommend) are of considerable value when travelling on a road which has fairly rapid but at the same time even undulations. The type of road we refer to is that which would cause the body to rise and fall a considerable distance in unison with these undulations. This action at times may become objectionable and the shock absorbers have an excellent effect in damping out this excessive movement. The effect referred to will not be | ||
