-2- Ha./W.18.2.33. Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} (11) Engine Controls. We are satisfied with the controls on the car in France. The small bracket suggested should be an improvement. (12) Air Inlet Band for S.U.Carburetters. We do not look upon this as essential for the first Bensport cars. This is more an experimental feature in case we wish to reduce the carburetter noise. (13) Fan Hub. The car in France is quite satisfactory, but it will be cheaper to make a small pattern. (14) Front Cyl. Water Connection Nozzle. The car running in France is quite satisfactory but it means a double bend in the pipe which could be avoided by a modified pattern. (15) Tachometer Drive on Dynamo. The car is running in France fitted with this scheme. The small pattern required may be an improvement. (16) Bensport Dashboard. The dashboard on the car in France was designed for the special Bensport crankcase. We had to machine it to suit the present engine. It is obviously better to alter the pattern to suit the new engine and floorboards. (17) Brake Equalising Shafts. It was known of course that these had to be altered. (18) Rear, Shock Damper Mounting and Tubular Cross Member Support for Battery. The Bensport car running in France has got the correct axles and brake gear. We have received no report of any foul so far. (19) Shock Damper Mounting. The car running in France has this mounting. | ||
