Noise Insulation on 3rd SpectreCodename for Phantom III.
(3.S.I) 32-EX.
E2/HP20.3.35.

We have noted the various features you propose fitting to this car with a view to reducing the amount of noise in the body, and also the various items you are incorporating with a view to reducing wind noises.

We do not think there are any comments Sales can make, beyond saying that we shall be very interested to hear the result of these experiments in due course.

You are, of course, aware that we are trying these things out on some of our cars in London.

There is just one point, namely the use of Silento. We note you are having the panels, etc. treated with this, but we have never yet been able to definitely to decide whether Silento is any help or not - or sufficient to justify the extra weight; and whilst we see no objection to your having this and the other points tried out on SpectreCodename for Phantom III III, we would like on one of the cars to see Silento tried out alone, so that we can really appreciate how much of the gain in silence is due to the Silento and how much is due to the insulation. By using both it is rather difficult to decide.
