X4117. PN.{Mr Northey}14/WT19.2.32. S/W. By [struck through] from PN.{Mr Northey} Copy to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Guv [struck through] Mr. Mounsey. Grimshaw Leather. Chassis No. GBT-32. I made a careful test of the springing control of 18-G4 when at W. this week, and consider that if GBT-32 has exactly similar control, i,e.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} similar springs and shock absorber loading, there should not be any risk of complaint with pitching, although I fear that in the absence of progressive damping there may be a complaint of harshness at the slower speeds. This car has of course so called low rating springs. PN.{Mr Northey} | ||
