Ignition coil misfiring issues experienced on Wraith vehicle 32-EX.

When Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} was trying 32-EX. in London under traffic conditions, he reports :- "pronounced misfiring occurred on both A.{Mr Adams} & B. ignition when accelerating from low speeds. This was overcome by temporarily replacing the Lucas coils by standard RR. taken from stock. " This does not necessarily mean the coils were faulty, it was no doubt induced sparking in the leads due to these being bunched together in the tube. By BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
