WRAITH - IGNITION COILS.

When Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} was trying 32-EX. in London under traffic conditions, he reports :-

"pronounced misfiring occurred on both A.{Mr Adams} & B. ignition when accelerating from low speeds. This was overcome by temporarily replacing the Lucas coils by standard RR. taken from stock. "

This does not necessarily mean the coils were faulty, it was no doubt induced sparking in the leads due to these being bunched together in the tube.
