R's CAR FOR FRANCE.

To reduce the cost of a car going to France for my use and criticism, can we arrange for it to be externally sufficiently near standard so that it can be used for trials and exhibition, so that the driver - Dodd or Taylor - could be used to give trial runs for anyone wishing for this type of car. Also it could be at the disposal of the RR. representative there I do not really require it all the time.

Two days a fortnight would about serve my purpose - say 20% of the time.

The object is to save expense, and to increase our representation there, and allow me to give more time to my design work, and get some exercise (walking).

R.{Sir Henry Royce}
