H. {Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Bowering Esq.,
Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Mr. Bowering,

I am returning the float chamber lid {A. J. Lidsey} sent to me, after cleaning the needle but not the seating. If you will remove the latter and look at it against a light with a magnifying glass you will see a black ring round the seating. Apparently, however, cleaning the needle only and not the seating has cured the sticking.

Kind regards.

Yours sincerely,
