The correspondence between Cannings and the M.P.A. has now become very difficult to deal with on account of Cannings hesitation to supply private owner with as much as 28/lbs of such a poisonous compound. We therefore think that the best course for the moment would be to advise the M.P.A. to advise their customer to use ordinary Caustic Soda instead of "Kleenwell", owing to the fact that at the time we recommended "Kleenwell" we were not aware it was such a dangerous poison. Meanwhile we should have tests made in the radiator Department with powdered Caustic Soda to determine whether or not there is much difference in the cleansing effect of this and "Kleenwell". Also a further analysis of genuine "Kleenwell" would be interesting. Hm {Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} /NRC. {N. R. Chandler} CWDP | ||
