The difference between small and large carburetters and pipes, is not nearly so noticeable when fitted to the deturbulated head, as with the fully deturbulated type.

The ignition timing was set at 3.5º ATDC with the hand control fully advanced, this is set to suit the Delco Remy ignition curve required with the deturbulated cylinder head.
