JACK MADE BY TANGYES.
---------------------

Referring to ROY {Sir Henry Royce} 1/MG.20.9.30. as soon as I have had an opportunity of examining the jack we will pass it over to the Experimental Department for them to compare with the latest Dunlop.

It is important that the jack should be used on an inclined surface, like the camber of the road, in order to produce the side pull resulting from :-

a {Mr Adams} /- The lifting of one wheel.
b/- The cant of the jack due to the camber.

With regard to the materials, however, whatever we test we must insist on having, in other words since we are testing mild steel pinion and a gunmetal cap, if the jack is passed, Jacks as sample must be supplied.
