G.W.H. 3.S.I. SPECTRECodename for Phantom III. We have received your memo. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} IO/KW of 29/6/35. We note your remarks re over-oiling. We have not as yet tackled the job. We have been carrying out tests to-day, to determine our Clutch case pressure and Crankcase pressure. We are at a loss to know, how the 6" water pressure was obtained. The position the pressure is taken, makes a lot of difference. We have taken our pressures behind the Flywheel as near to the bearing as it was possible to get. The following are the pressures obtained. ( Average of three tests) Speed.
