X393 With reference to the subject you raised recently, will you please note we have circulated a letter as follows:- Begins "Will you permit us to mention that we find it is advisable to write to various coachbuilder's that fittings such as wing stays, luggage grid brackets, etc. should not be fixed to any part of the rear end of the side members of the chassis frame which extend beyond the rear cross member. These projections are only for the purpose of slinging the petrol tank and should not be used for any other fittings". Ends. H.O. File T.C.
