Note. The latest design eliminates the large ball bearing shown as C; it also places the rollers of the free wheel on the outer member of the free wheel, thus allowing these rollers to be flung out of contact with the inner member A. {Mr Adams} The nett result is that the armature & gear runs free in use as a dynamo on ball bearings D & E only.
